I was supposed to be in DC right now.
But I'm not.
Because Northwest Airlines is ghetto.
Last night, I boarded my plane at 12:30am to head for Minneapolis for a connection to DC. I was going to DC for the 4th and to meet up with my wonderful Connecticut friend, Jennah! We got out to the runway and there was a light on. It took 2.5 hours with no air conditioning and a middle seat, to figure out, that they didn't have a mechanical part and the flight was cancelled. So we all got off to wait in line as all the 200 passengers awaited transfers, hotel vouchers, and meal tickets. Apparently, the flight was to leave again at 12noon but they couldn't get me to DC till late Friday. Not worth it. But my luggage got to go to all the way to DC. How fun. {can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?!}
So the clock read 4 am and I was beat. And luggageless.
But I guess there is always next year to celebrate in the nation's capital!
I love my little nephew, grayson. He gets all his moves from me. :) But about 13 seconds in, he gets a little camera shy! But I'm not.

Oh!! I'm so sorry about your trip! My friends are there right now and hated it.... Not really, but I hope that helped. :) Grayson is darling, and I love seeing Papa B shake it, too. Love you!!
