This week I had a working interview at dental office in Vegas. Being that this was my first working interview and my first patients since beginning of May, I felt like I could puke. The day went ok but there was this one patient that halfway through the appointment, he looks up at me and says, 'you must be new at this'. It definitely broke the tension and we joked about it the rest of the appointment! By the end of the day, I was beyond tired!
That night the dentist called and let me know that I GOT THE JOB! It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! The position is full-time (Monday-Thursday) with benefits (two things that are hard to find in my profession). The office is a 'dental spa' so we have complimentary paraffin hand waxes, heated neck wraps, warm towels, freshly-baked cookies, aromatherapy, and of course, calming spa music. It's fun!

J-Love , Congrats on the Job!! It sounds like you work in a place like my office. I am so happy for you! It does get better and you wont be tired anymore the more you work. My belly is getting in the way and hitting patients in the head! haha. I am coming to Henderson in Feb. for Crown Council with my office. Maybe we could meet up. I will have my baby too!I love you and miss you and you are a GREAT hygienist and I do know this. We only went to the same school together, right?

Horray! That is awesome! I know you were worried about that and it turned out fabulous! So cool that it is a spa place with waxes and cookies. Hopefully you get to enjoy some of those perks for free! :)
Bryson and I go to a Dental Spa and we LOVE it! It's so relaxing! I am glad you got the job!
