I wish I went to P.E. in Bridgeport...
So for the next month, I am out on rotation at a Bridgeport elementary school doing cleanings on kids (K-6). (For those who don't know, Bridgeport is a ghetto to say the least. But all elementary and Jr. High schools in Bridgeport have dental clinics in them for hygienists to give annual cleanings to low-income children--so cool!)
As I took my first patient back to his classroom after we were done, we noticed that there was a sign that said that the class was at P.E. We went down to the gym and the class was just coming out and headed back. One little boy said, " Darryl! You missed it! We learned the Soulja Boy dance!" I about died laughing! Gotta love Bridgeport! What happened to go old dodgeball?

Jillian,
I'm kind of embarrassed to say this, but I really want to practice and learn the dance after watching that little tutorial. Do you think the youth would think I was cool if I could do this dance? Or do you think it would be dorky?
Val! You should totally teach them! I actually watched this tutorial and learned a lot of the moves and showed them off at this year's New Year's party! It's a fun dance!
I am so out of touch.
man, i wish Dooley would have been this hip. then maybe i'd have a prayer on the dancefloor today.
