Who knew produce could grow in Vegas?

A couple Saturdays ago, two of my friends and I found out about a orchard in Las Vegas! You can pick all the produce you want and pay by a very modest price per pound. I was shocked to find this lush location amid the dry desert. In season that day were apples, squash, cucs, pears, eggplant, peaches, watermelon, tomatoes and canary melon.

I love finding out about these little gems in Vegas. I will definitely be heading back to the orchard soon!

nothing like the fresh smell of a tomato plant

yum. eggplant.

apparently, not all survive the scorching heat of Vegas

apple orchard. I thought of this.

Wow. Who knew we had an Allred's in our own backyard. Will you please call me when you are going again?

It's like when I discovered that LV had a zoo! I couldn't believe it.
