Last weekend I took the last board exam (clinical) in SLC. Those 4 days were filled with
ups and downs...
ups and downs...
up: got to go to UT and skip school! (i had to take the board in a Western state because this exam goes by region. So since I will be working in NV, I couldn't take the board in CT.)
down: had to leave my house at 3am to catch a flight in NYC at 6am
up: Kelcey(she is originally from bountiful, ut but is going to school with me and took boards also)
up: Rented my FIRST rental car!
up: lunch at cafe rio!
up: seeing Karyn (my old roomie from CT)
up: seeing kate!! Oh, it was so good to see you!
up: having lunch with Kate the next day at Gateway
up: finding the perfect black pants at banana
up: Seeing Alli!
down: checking our patient to see if he meets the criteria, which he didn't
down: me-freaking out is more like it
down: screening, screening, screening (Screening means, we looked at a bunch of people's mouth to see if they would qualify for boards. They have to have certain tooth pocket depths and a certain level of tarter build-up. we even screened some guys in the University Mall's parking lot in Provo! That's how desperate we were!)
down: having to cancel my plans with Susie and Erin
up: I asked this girl who had just finished her exam if her patient could be shared. She said definitely and the patient was willing to come back in the morning! I am so blessed! This girl was a serious answer to my prayers!
up:Did the best that I could cleaning his mouth! Lots of stuff to remove!
up: got to see Abby and her family after my boards! best thing to do after a stressful morning!
up:lots of texts and voice mails from Janelle
up: seeing Karyn that night and eating at Pizza Factory!
up: getting on that plane back to CT!

I forgive you this time ;) Can;t wait to see you in May. I will be around the 22nd and 23rd during the day and then I am off to Europe. Woo hoo!
OH my gosh...what the stressfull?! Are you still alive? This is every dental hygienists worst nightmare!
