New tradition this year!

Confetti Eggs!

I LOVE that my family lets me do crazy stuff with them!

Here's how I made them...

Empty the yolks out ( I made the hole big so the yolk would come out faster!)

Rinse and let dry.

Then i....

Dropped some...oops! :)

 

 

 

Had some fun!

 

 Dyed the eggs

Filled the eggs with Fruity Pebbles cereal! Then glued tissue paper on top!

My mom made a beautiful and equally yummy cake!

 

 

 I had fun making the Easter centerpiece!

 

 

Yum!

March Madness-"The big dance", times 4

While some were focused on Jimmer and his amazing shot this March, I on the other hand, was focused on weddings! 

Don't get me wrong, I watched all the games when I could, and not to brag, but I had UCONN going all the way and lost my office bracket challenge by ONE point! One point!

Anyway, back to Matrimony March...

My beautiful sister got married to Josh in the SLC temple.  One cool thing about Janelle's bouquet was that I placed a cameo from our Great-grandmother, grandmother, our mom and Janelle got her very own cameo the night before her wedding! 4 generations of cameos!

My closest and longest friend, Kate got married to Regan in the Las Vegas, NV Temple. Although the weather tempted her beautiful outdoor luncheon, we had a wonderful time! To see more pictures, her wedding was featured here.

Janelle and Josh had a reception aka PARTY down in Henderson! It was fun for all! It was a carnival-themed party and the games included a cupcake walk, bingo, plinko, a fish pond, etc.  They even had a wedding cake pinata and caricature artists there drawing the guests! A definite Janelle party!

Dia and Sam have been in my ward for years and Dia had asked if I could help with her flowers. I gladly accepted!

Yesterday marked one year that I have been in business!
And coincidentally, it would have been my grandmother's 96th birthday too.
I love that the Nevada business license office choose to process my application on her birthday.

i'm ready for it to be summer.

and i really want this.

desperate times, call for desperate measures.

My best friend, Kate, is a finalist for a FREE and awesome wedding photography package from a local photographer.

oh yeah, i started a flower business this year.

This is my Grandma Holyoak. Isn't she pretty?
Here she is on Cedar Mountain with a bouquet of wildflowers.

I knew her as Georgia.

But her whole name is Georgianna.
{some records show her name with one 'n'}

I loved it either way.

So much so, that I used it when creating my business name.
